Éverton Simões Van-Dal currently is responsible for Business Development at Braskem’s Renewable Chemicals business. Previously, he has served as Technology Scouting leader for Renewable Technologies for 4 years. In addition, Éverton has started and led Braskem’s 3D printing program for 3 years, including the project Printing the Future, which developed a solution for 3D printing with Green Polyethylene on the International Space Station. Éverton earned a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from Federal University of Parana – UFPR (Brazil) and Université Pierre et Marie Curie (France), including periods at INSA Toulouse (France) and Newcastle University (UK). He also attended the Graduate Studies Program from Silicon Valley-based Singularity University on Exponential Technologies. In 2012, Éverton founded the Pilot School of Chemical Engineering at UFPR, which has inspired the creation of several similar institutions in Brazil, and has impacted thousands of students so far. Éverton has published 6 articles in journals related to renewable chemicals and engineering education.
